Fans of the iconic David Lynch series will be excited to learn that the Balboa Theater will host The Black Lodge Formal: Twin Peaks Fest.

The Black Lodge Formal: Twin Peaks Fest will take place on August 26th starting at 8pm. The event will feature a screening of selected episodes along with the movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. The event will also have a drag show with performances by Odessa Lil & The Reannamator, Amy Bathhouse, Lil Too Much, and Vera. The lobby will have art for sale by local artists.

Tickets are now on sale and guests could either purchase an All Day Pass or separate admission to their choice of event. Due to the ongoing pandemic, guests are required to wear their mask at all time. This will be one of many special events hosted by the Balboa Theate during the weekend.

The Balboa Theater is an independent movie theater located on 3630 Balboa St, San Francisco. They are known for showing indie films, classics tiles, anime films and new releases.

Twin Peaks was a supernatural crime drama that followed FBI Agent Dale Cooper working with local law enforcement to capture the killer of homecoming queen Laura Palmer. Despite only running for two seasons, it has been ranked as one of the greatest shows of the 90’s while being a major influence on pop-culture.
