Those who want to kick-off the Summer Season with an anime convention experience will be excited to learn that AFKxp will be hosting AniMAY at the end of the month

AniMAY will be a weekend long event that starts on May 28th and ends on May 31st at AFKxp. It’s free and open to the public (with safety measures in place) but a reservation is encouraged for some events. The event will feature a cosplay night followed by a maid cafe and a swap meet.

The AniMay Cosplay Night will only take place on May 28th. Maid Cosplay Cafe will take place on May 29th and the 30th from Noon to 7pm. During the day, maids and butlers will be serving food, playing games with guests, and watching some anime. Walk-ins are welcomed but guests are encouraged to reserve a table (email at game@afkgg.com).

Artists Alley + Pokemon Card Swap will take place on May 31st from 11am to 5pm. The swap meet will feature game/ anime inspired artists along with Pokemon card vendors.

AFKxp Tech+Games could only be described as the heart of the gaming community in the South Bay. This due to the the numerous gaming events they have hosted. They are located on the second floor of LVL Up and share a space with The Retro Fix.
