Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE that showcases some of the games improvements, including the cloud and weather physics.  

ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE | Strangereal Evolution Episode 2 looks at what SKIES UNKNOWN was known for and how it has been updated for the new game. Among the highlighted updates for WINGS OF THEVE are the cloud and weather physics that have been overhauled. Other highlighted updates include the story along with the improved combat mechanics and physics. You can watch the trailer here:

ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE is the ninth game in the series and it’s set to launch for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC sometime in 2026. After the Federation of Central Usea is invaded by the Republic of Sotoa, an FCU pilot must take to the skies to liberate their nation. To inspire hope, they take on the callsign “Wings of Theve”.
