FanimeCon is a month away but the guest list continues to grow with Yuriko Yamaguchi joining the guest list.

Yuriko Yamaguchi is a voice actress with a rich history in the Japanese entertainment industry. She is best known for her role as Ritsuko Akagi in the Evangelion franchise, which includes Neon Genesis Evangelion, the Rebuild of Evangelion films, and a number of adaptations. Her other iconic roles include Nurse Joy in the Pokemon series from 1999 to 2006 and Nico Robin in One Piece. Her other notable roles include Vados in Dragon Ball Super and Rhinedottir in Genshin Impact.

She will be joining director Hiroshi Nagahama, professional cosplayer and Gunpla builder VampyBitMe, historian Gilles Poitras, voice performer Emi Lo, professional cosplayer Maguma, and VTuber Mint Fantôme, just to name a few. Addtional details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks as Fanime fast approaches.

FanimeCon 2026 will take place during the Memorial Day Weekend at the San Jose Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. It is one of the largest fan organized anime conventions in North America.
