Bandai Namco has launched Vol. 1 of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy for the PlayStation consoles. This is the first part of a three volume game (all set to launch in 2021) set during the One Year War.

Set during the North American theater of the One Year War, it follows the exploits of a special unit that is part of Zeon’s Earth Attack Force. The Noisy Fairy is a special mobile unit lead by Alama Stirner while under the command of Kycilia Zabi. Vol. 1 follows the unit during the early days of the invasion and their battles against the Earth Federation forces. Check out the launch trailer to have an idea of what to expect:

Vol. 1 was released on November 5th while Vol. 2. will be released on November 19th and Vol. 3 is set to launch on December 3rd. Each one could be purchased individually for $19.99 USD or fans could either pick up the Standard Edition ($49.99) or Deluxe Edition ($59.99).

Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, follows the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.

Those who have not watched the anime series could view most of it on GundamInfo (the official Gundam YouTube channel). Its library includes the Mobile Suit Gundam Trilogy, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, The 08th MS Team and 0080: War in the Pocket.
