Ohana Comic Con team has announced that Vallejo Toy-Anime-Comic Con 2020 has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vallejo Toy-Anime-Comic Con 2020 was set to take place on May 9th at Lodge 468 from 11am to 4pm. However, California has saw a spike in COVID-19 cases and death last week. In response to this spike, the difficult choice was made to postpone it for a latter time.

No new date has been selected at the moment, that announcement will be made in the future. The news was made on their Events Page on Facebook.

This has not been their first event that had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fremont-San Jose Toy-Anime-Comic Con and the Elk Grove Toy-Anime-Comic Con were pushed back to July. It could also be speculated that all the May event will also have to be postponed as the Bay Area has extended the shelter in place order.

This announcement comes during a new wave of events being cancelled or postponed. FanimeCon, San Deigo Comic Con and Anime Expo were among the most resent conventions to cancel their 2020 event. Other events that have been cancelled include DAiCon and Clockwork Alchemy. Others like GDC and Ani-Me Con have been pushed back to a latter date.
