Kit9 Studios has released Patch 2.0.9 for The Coffin of Andy and Leyley along with details about the progress of the overall game. 

Progress Report #1 details Kit9 Studios’ plans for The Coffin of Andy and Leyley going forward. Fans should expect a new progress report on the first week of each month along with a new update. The team has also confirmed that the games current build is stable and new patches will become available on a regular basis. The only exceptions are patches that address urgent fixes. 

The development team is currently focused on fixing the audio playback that should be available in the next update. Other aspects being focused on are regarding its quality of life features. Among them are better labels for saved games and a chapter selection menu. 

Patch 2.0.0 Improvements

Patch 2.0.9 was launched on January 2nd and it fixes a few bugs and corrects some typos. Here is the breakdown of the improvements made with Patch 2.0.9 to The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.

• Fixed typos.
• Disabled file drag and drop to window.
• Made double tile doorways function better.
• Fixed a missing wall segment in the demon puzzle area.

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a horror adventure game that blends elements of a psychological thriller with those of a dark comedy. The story follows siblings Andrew and Ashley Graves trying to survive a quarantine by taking drastic measures. 

The game started as a project released on Itch.io before launching on Steam in Early Access. No launch date has been set but the goal is to have a full launch sometime in 2024.
