Izanami Game Lab has announced that the demo version of Steel Knight’s ARMIS is now available on Steam.

Available for free as of September 9th, the demo will allow players to experience the first two chapters. Players take on the role of an ARMIS (Advanced Robotic Mechanized Interceptor System) pilot and lead a rebel army against the Imperial Army and Earth Federation forces. Players fight their way through a battlefield full of dramatic twists and turns.

The Steel Knight’s ARMIS demo will also be showcased at the Indie Game Corner at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. The full game is set to launch on October 8th for the PC.

Steel Knight’s ARMIS blends ensemble storytelling with a roguelike shooting, drawing heavy inspiration from classic mecha anime like Gundam. Players pilot an ARMIS unit and battle enemy forces through evolving builds while seamlessly shifting into exhilarating vertical shooting sequences. Across five chapters, each with its own protagonist, the game delivers intense drama alongside relentless combat.
