Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite! (also known as SNAFU Con) announced that their event has been deferred to 2021. The event was to take place the Nugget Hotel and Casino during the Halloween weekend. The announcement was made in the following post:
It has been confirmed that SNAFU Con 2021 will take place on October 29th to the 31st. There are also plans to organize a digital event that will take place on November 13th to the 15th. More information will be made available in the coming months.
They no join numerous conventions and expos that have had to cancel their 2020 and early 2021 event due to the pandemic. Many have temporally switched to an all digital event while planing for 2021.
Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite! is one of the largest anime conventions in Reno, Nevada. The event invites industry guests and fans for a weekend of fun. The event is also very popular among the fandom community in Northern California (as demonstrated by their presence at numerous conventions).
