Following the launch of the Oculus Quest 2, Facebook has announced that several anime inspired VR games are now available. The games are Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing, Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash!, Hatsune Miku VR, and Kizuna AI – Touch the Beat!.
It has been confirmed that all of these anime inspired games are compatible with both the Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift.
Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing puts players in the role of a student at the Luna Nova Witchcraft Academy. They will partner with characters from the anime (voiced in English and Japanese) to experience an original story. I actually got to play this game during Crunchyroll Expo 2019, you could check out to learn more.
Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash! is a sequel to the iconic SEGA Dreamcast game. Players must once again use their awesome dance moves to stop an alien invasion.
Hatsune Miku VR is an experiences that allows fans a look inside the world of the iconic vocaloid singer. Players will get the chance to enjoy a musical journey with Hatsune Miku while in the comfort of the Oculus.
Kizuna AI – Touch the Beat! is a rhythm game hosted by the virtual YouTuber. Players watch a Kizuna AI performance while hitting notes that come flying. The better your rhyme, the closer you get to her.
