Cosplayers who were excited about the return of Sencha Gatherings will have to wait an extra few months. That is because the Sencha Pokémon Cosplay Gathering! has been postponed to April.
Now renamed Sencha Spring Cosplay Gathering! will take place at the Santa Clara Central Park (located at 909 Kiely Blvd) on April 15th, 2023 from Noon to 6 pm.
The event is free and guests are expected to follow three important rules. No steel or gun props of any kind will be allowed (for obvious safety reasons). Cosplayers are also encouraged to dress appropriately due to the public setting of the event. There will be zero tolerance for any action that will create a negative environment. Finally, no smoking or consumption of alcohol is allowed.
Snacks and drinks will be served while several Pokemon themed activities will be organized. Additional information about the event will be announced in the coming months.
Cosplay gatherings are special events where local cosplayers can meet up for a day of fun. They are also highlights of fan conventions as participants gather based on their favorite series.
