It was announced on August 16th that the Sac Gamers Expo 2020 has been cancelled due to concerns of public safety. The decision was made due to a spike in cases around the Sacramento area and no end in sight for the pandemic. At the time of writing, there are no plans for a digital only alternative.
Gamers will be delighted to know that a time and date has been set for the 2021 event. Sac Gamers Expo 2020 will take place from December 18th to the 19th at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. It’s 5min away from California State University, Sacramento. The announcement was made in the following post:
Sac Gamers Expo is one of the largest gaming conventions in the Sacramento area. The event brings together retro game vendors, industry icons and leaders of the communities indie game community for one event.
