Lustful Victor is a hentai-themed cyberpunk adventure where you seek vengeance in a lust-filled underworld.

Retro-style games will either try to capture that feeling of another era or add their own take on a classic. Lustful Victor is one such game that attempts to do both. It’s a side-scrolling action platformer reminiscent of the SNES era. However, it does so with a strong hentai influence in a cyberpunk world.
Lustful Victor is an action platformer that takes players into the dark underworld of a cyberpunk city. Players will navigate a familiar yet dangerous world as they embark on a quest for answers and vengeance.

Responding to a distress call on the ISS, Police Inspector Noelle arrives to find the space station overrun by mutant slugs—and an overwhelming sense of lust. The mission ends in failure, leaving her with no memory of what transpired. Seeking answers and vengeance, Noelle descends into Petaputua City, a sprawling, neon-lit metropolis where technology and humanity intertwine in both exhilarating and forbidding ways. Cybernetic thugs, seductive rogue AIs, and ruthless corporate enforcers rule the city’s underbelly.
Noelle must navigate the city’s dark underworld, testing both her skills and her resolve—all while hunting the man who controls everything from the shadows: Victor.
The story follows a basic, run-of-the-mill cyberpunk and hentai adventure. You find yourself in a dark world overtaken by lust, along with technological and biomechanical horrors. However, it’s not properly explored from a narrative perspective. Instead, it feels like little more than a backdrop to the setting. The only narrative elements are your search for Victor and the need to rescue some people along the way. Unfortunately, there is no closure or alternative path when it comes to fighting Victor. You defeat him, but you also lose—and that’s it. I get that this is a hentai game and that I should keep my expectations low regarding the lore, but that’s no excuse for an underdeveloped narrative.
The gameplay mechanics and combat are simple. Players run through levels, shooting any foes that stand in their way, with a boss battle awaiting at the end of each stage. However, avoiding damage isn’t the only challenge. Coming into contact with an enemy leads to corruption, and falling too deep into it makes Victor’s forces more likely to overpower you. To avoid this fate, shoot from a distance and minimize contact. At the same time, collect money to boost your stats and gain an edge.

From the start, the anime-style visuals and cyberpunk aesthetics grabbed my attention. Petaputua City is a vibrant world defined by its striking cyberpunk style, all while pandering to one’s lust. Inspired by the 32-bit era of gaming, the game pays meticulous attention to detail in both its world and character design. Noelle’s design strikes a perfect balance between a cyberpunk hero like Major Motoko and a stronger emphasis on sexual undertones. Victor, along with his harem and footsoldiers, has been designed to seamlessly fit into this world.
This extends beyond just the in-game moments to include the cutscenes as well. In terms of animation and non-playable segments, the quality of work is evident. You’ll likely enjoy its many sexual moments and appreciate the attention to detail in its 32-bit world.
The soundtrack also plays a vital role in setting the atmosphere, adapting expertly to the environment or situation. Whether it’s on the ISS, in the streets, or during an intense boss fight, the musical score captures the mood perfectly. It also reflects the game’s anime influences and cyberpunk setting, blending dynamic melodies with futuristic tones to create a truly immersive audio experience.

When I first got Lustful Victor, there were numerous issues. Many of those problems have been resolved thanks to several updates over the past few weeks. However, some still remain, holding the game back in terms of quality and performance.
The gameplay action and combat still feel sluggish at times, especially outside of movement. Combat lacks responsiveness when needed, resulting in a delay between when you want to shoot and when Noelle actually fires. The same issue occurs with jumping, particularly in intense moments when you need to run and jump simultaneously. This constant delay between pressing a key and the action occurring is frustrating, as it pulls players out of the immersion and into a state of irritation.
If you can tolerate the controls, you’ll likely start to lose interest once you realize that almost every level feels the same. Aside from the intro stage and gallery, every other level and boss stage features the same repeating backdrop with little variation. You’ll encounter the same shops, the same bar, and the same construction sites repeatedly, making the world feel repetitive and uninspired. One could also attempt to speedrun the game, but the thrill wears off quickly.
Despite its shortcomings, Lustful Victor is a fun hentai game set in a cyberpunk world. I also have to give credit to the developers for addressing some of the series’ issues with the game. Therefore, I believe it has the potential to improve with further updates.

Lustful Victor is a hentai-themed cyberpunk adventure where you seek vengeance in a lust-filled underworld. The game grabs your attention with its anime-style visuals and cyberpunk aesthetics. The gameplay is easy to learn, and it comes with a killer soundtrack.
