OffKai Expo Gen 4 is only a month away, and event organizers expect to draw in over 5,000 attendees over the weekend.

In a recently released statement, OffKai Expo explained why the 2025 event was moved to San Jose. The 2024 Gen 3 event sold out with over 3,000 attendees—a 65% increase from previous years. As a result, the Hyatt Regency SFO could no longer accommodate the growing crowd and demand. To better support future growth, organizers relocated the convention to the much larger San Jose Convention Center.

With its new larger location, OffKai Expo Gen 4 promises to be its largest event. Attendees can expect more programming and an impressive number of Meet & Greet opportunities with over 70 guests scheduled to appear. The lineup features VTubers signed with major agencies along with independent stars.

In a partnership with Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., OffKai Expo Gen 4 will host an official live viewing of the concert Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours Finale LoveLive! ～EIKYU STAGE～. This will mark the first time a Love Live! concert is officially streamed from Japan to a North American event audience.

OffKai Expo Gen 4 will also feature its headline concert, OffKai LIVE, with a stellar lineup to be announced soon. Fan-favorite events return as well, including the popular maid café OffKai Cafe, a Keyboard Meetup, OffChoir—a fan-organized choir performing popular VTuber music—an Itasha show, and the Cosplay Contest. Attendees can shop for unique VTuber art and merchandise in the expanded 43,000 sq. ft. Artist and Vendor Hall.

OffKai Expo Gen4 will take place from June 20th to June 22nd at the San Jose Convention Center. It’s the Bay Area’s first and one of the largest VTuber conventions. The event invites fans for a chance to meet some of the biggest VTubers while also enjoying the gaming events and the dealer’s hall.
