The PC version of No More Heroes has received an update that now allows gamers to enjoy it with a keyboard and mouse.

No More Heroes new update fixes some bugs while finally supporting mouse and keyboard. If you remember our review, one of the biggest complaints we had was the lack of mouse and keyboard support. 

According to XSEED, the developers have been working since 2021 to resolve this and other issues with the game. They have thanked fans for their patience as the last update the game received was on July 14th, 2021. They have also confirmed that they are working on a similar update for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

Patch Improvements

Here is the breakdown of the improvements made with No More Heroes.

  • Keyboard and mouse are now fully supported.
  • Gamepad rebinding is now supported.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would not work properly in Offline mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the following achievements did not unlock properly: Dial M for Massacre, Gym Rat, Dump Donator and No More Hero.
  • Fixed an issue where the game crashed at the ranking screen after a battle with Holly Summers.
  • Fixed minor bugs.

Travis Touchdown is Back

No More Heroes follows Travis Touchdown as he becomes a professional assassin after winning a beam katana in an internet auction. The original game was launched for the Nintendo Wii back in 2007. The last game in the series was launched on the Nintendo Switch back in 2021 followed by a wider release in 2022.
