Anime fans are in for a treat as Michelle Ruff from Bleach and Lupin the Third is coming to GalaxyCon San Jose 2026.

Michelle Ruff is a voice actress who has played several iconic anime characters. She is best known for her roles as Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach, Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, and Fujiko Mine in every adaptation of Lupin the Third. Ruff also voiced Luna in the Sailor Moon series and Tsukasa Hiiragi in Lucky Star.

She also has a rich history in the games industry, having voiced some of the most iconic characters. This includes Etna in the Disgaea series, Crimson Viper in the Street Fighter series, Sadayo Kawakami in Persona 5. Other notable characters include Cream the Rabbit in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and Jill Valentine in Resident Evil: Revelations.

In that rich career, Ruff earned the 2009 SPJA Industry Award for Best Voice Actress for her portrayal of Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach: Memories of Nobody and received two American Anime Awards nominations in 2007 for her work in Bleach and Lupin the Third.

More Coming to GalaxyCon San Jose 2026

Michelle Ruff is one of several guests at GalaxyCon San Jose 2026, a lineup ranging from acclaimed stars to iconic voice actors.

She will be joining Nick Apostolides from the Resident Evil series, George Takei from Star Trek,  Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn from the MCU, actor Barry Bostwick, David Howard Thornton from the Terrifier series, puppeteer Steve Whitmire, actor Scott Patterson, along with Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz from the Twilight Saga. More guests will be announced in the future along with details about the weekend, special events, and panels.

Tickets for GalaxyCon San Jose 2026 are on sale, including day passes starting at $45 to weekend passes going for $125 and VIP Premium Passes going for $2,400. Special events like Tea with Cassandra Peterson require a separate ticket alongside an event pass.

GalaxyCon is a pop-culture fan convention that has been a staple of the fandom community of the East Coast and the Southern US. The San Jose event is their first one on the West Coast. GalaxyCon San Jose 2026 will take place at the San Jose Convention Center from August 21st to August 23rd.
