Fans of the Metal Max series will be happy to know that 24Frame Inc. is launching Metal Dogs for the Nintendo Switch.

A spin-off to the main series, Metal Dogs is a top-down shooter that has players take on the role of Pochi (voiced by Hiro Shimono). The gameplay is casual focused while also including elements from the iconic series.

Metal Dogs game is set to launch on March 8th in North America for the Nintendo Switch. There is no word regarding launches on other consoles or if the PC version will exit Early Access.

Metal Max is post-apocalyptic RPG series that follows a variety of characters as they struggle to survive. The first game was released back in 1991 for the Nintendo Family Computer while the last entry, Metal Max Xeno, was released in 2018.
