BlackOpsIII

Thursday March 8th was a major day for gamers as multiple titles were officially confirmed while several highly anticipated ports were announced. For those who missed the news, here is a quick rundown of all the major announcements made.

Major Titles Announced

After a minor leak the previous day, the first major title to be announced was Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Ubisoft posted a teaser trailer confirming the game but no other information was unveiled. Fans will have to wait till E3 2018 to learn more but support for the original game will continue.

Next there was the confirmation that the next Call of Duty will be Black Ops IIII (yes that is how they are writing 4 in roman numeral). More information will be unveiled on May 17th and the game is set to be released on October 12.

Finally we come to the biggest news of the day, Super Smash Bros. is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The game is set to launch sometime in 2018 and will feature a verity of iconic characters along with several new entries. Lets be honest – this was the only game announcement that mattered yesterday.

Other Major Announcements

Super Smash Bros. coming to the Nintendo Switch was the best news of the day, the second best news was Undertale coming to the Nintendo Switch (this is a must get title). South Park fans will also be delighted to learn that The Fractured But Whole is also coming to the Switch, making it the first South Park title on a Nintendo console since South Park Rally in 2000. Both these titles should be out sometime in 2018.
