BIG NEWS for all anime fans! HypeCon has announced their next guest for the January 2024 event and it’s Johnny Yong Bosch.

Johnny Yong Bosch is an actor who is well known for playing some of the most iconic anime characters. His career started with the role of Adam Park / the second Black Ranger in the Power Rangers franchise. This was followed by his performance as Vash the Stampede on Trigun and Shotaro Kaneda in the Pioneer dub version of Akira. 

His other iconic performances include Jonathan Joestar in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Ichigo Kurosaki on Bleach, and Lelouch vi Britannia in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Among his most recent roles include Bam in Tower of God and Yun Arikawa in Godzilla Singular Point. Recently he reprised his iconic roles for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War and Trigun Stampede.

He will be joining Abby Trott from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Additional guests will be announced in the future. Tickets for the event are now on sale going for $5 in advance and $40 for VIPs. Prices for tickets will rise the closer it gets to the day of HypeCon.

HypeCon 2024 will take place on January 27th at the South San Francisco Conference Center. This one-day event is dedicated to the hypist collectibles like Pokemon cards, BTS merch, and Funko Pops.
