With E3 having come to an end, its time to look back at the titles that amazed us or were a total let down. After a week of big news its time to examine the titles that will make us go broke or are not worth waiting for.
Games We Want
South Park: The Fractured But Whole – A sequel to The Stick of Truth has the gang take on the Superhero genre. Take on the role of the new kid once again as the boys go to war as the superhero alter ego. This is basically going to fell like another memorable episode for the fans.
Battlefield 1 – Very few games have explored The Great War but this iconic series is taking players back to the birth of total warfare.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – The thirteenth game in the iconic shooter series follows an intergalactic war between the United Nations Space Alliance against the Settlement Defense Front. Oh and Kit Harington is the main villain.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands – This highly ambitious title has players command the Ghosts as they wage a guerrilla war against the corrupt government of Bolivia and their Cartel supporters.
Resident Evil 7 – It appears the series is returning to its horror roots while borrowing elements from PT. Not much is known but the trailier has impressed many, including Hideo Kojima.
Death Stranding – The next game from Hideo Kojima, not much is known but it already looks like a masterpiece.
Other Games That Got Our Attention
- Final Fantasy XV
- God of War 4
- Pokemon: Sun / Moon
- Mafia III
- Agents of Mayhem
- Crash Bandicoot remake
- Injustice 2
- Dishonored 2
- Watch Dogs II
Games We Are Going To Pass
Days Gone – We are still back stabbing each other in Day Z, we survived State of Decay, and we totally forgot about H1Z1 or the countless others that have been released. So now we ask, “Do owe really need another zombie survival title?” The answer is no, we don’t need another one.
Steep – This is going to be an open world extreme sports title that will features a wide range of stuff to do. Sorry when we hear “open world extreme sports” boredom comes to mind.
On the Fence
The Last Guardian – Anyone who has followed this games production will know that it has undergone many delays and there have been several rumors that it was canceled. This game has been in development for so long that we fear it might be the next Duke Nukem: Forever. However we could be wrong, hence we are just going to wait and see.
Attack on Titan – The last video game adaptation of this popular anime was ok but we are going to wait and see how this one looks.
Disappointments
Kind of disappointed that Rockstar Games made no big announcement at E3 despite all the hype. We were all hoping to see something about Red Dead 2, a new Grand Theft Auto or another unique title (seriously Rockstar can do no wrong).
