If you are a regular in the convention scene in the Bay Area then you are all to familiar with the work of the Foundation for the Preservation of Gen 1 Pokemon.

Foundation for the Preservation of Gen 1 Pokemon is a panel group that is well known for taking hilarious jabs at fandom culture, anime and Pokemon. Among their most iconic panels are “Console Wars”. “Fifth Gen Isn’t Pokemon” and “We All Live in a Pokemon World”.

During Kin-Yoobi Con 2019, they will be giving a presentation on “Make Anime Great Again”. This panel has been a staple at conventions like FanimeCon and SacAnime.

They will be joining author and geek lifestyle expert Steven Savage along with professional cosplayers Laura C and Miss Marisa. Besides insightful panels, Kin-Yoobi Con will also feature game show trivia, eSport tournaments and a good selection of local vendors.

Kin-Yoobi Con 2019 is anEast Bay anime convention that invites fans for a day of fun with local clubs and vendors. The event will take place on Sunday, August 11th at SDES Alvarado in Union City and tickets are on sale now.
