During the Game Developers Conference 2022, IOGear was present to showcase some of its upcoming gear to the industry.
The team had a booth set up at the Moscone Center that showcased their latest gear and accessories. Members of the media were also invited for a special tour of the latest IOGear products. I got the chance to check some of them out during a media session.
Speaking with Ismael Mendoza at the IOGear booth, I got the chance to learn about the latest tools they are bringing onto the market. Here are several of the ones that I got to learn about:
UpStream 4k Video Capture Adapter with Party Chat (GUV302G) is the latest capture card from the UpStream line that first launched in 2019. The latest version supports 4K @60Hz HDR input and video capture on either a PC or laptop (via USB-C). Also included is support for in-game chat and commentary without the need to sacrifice any communication. It’s designed for the Next-Gen consoles and it’s compatible with OBS, StreamLabs, and Xsplit.
SB-C Docking Station Stand (GUD3C4K1LS) is a compact docking station and laptop stand designed for any laptop (PC or Mac). It has (1) HDMI port that supports 4K/30Hz, (2) USB-A ports, (2) USB-C ports, and (1) RJ45 port. It can be adjusted based on a user’s work needs and it could be folded up for traveling. IOGear plans to have the USB-C Docking Station Stand out sometime in June 2022 while no price has been set at the moment.
USB-C Triple HD Dock w/ 100W PD 3.0 (GUD3C4K3) is a full-sized docking station that is compatible with any PC or Mac laptop (so long as they have a USB-C port). The docking station has (4) USB-A ports, (2) HDMI ports along with (1) SD slot and an ethernet port.
2-Port 8K Single View DisplayPort KVMP (GCS1952) allows for the connection between two computers from one keyboard and mouse along with an 8K monitor. It features two display ports while allowing for video quality ranging from 8K to 4K at 120Hz. It’s compatible with Windows, iOs, and Linux operating systems. For those who need more ports, the 4-Port 8K Single View DisplayPort KVMP (GCS1954) is also available.
Everything IOGear showcased at GDC 2022 was designed for devoted PC gamers and those working in the games industry. If you are looking for some new gear, be sure to look out for these products that are coming soon.
