According to data collected by event organizers, GalaxyCon San Jose 2024 attracted over 12,000 attendees and generated an estimated $2.5 million for the local economy. Data collected by Visit San Jose indicates that hotels, restaurants, and services around the convention center benefited greatly from the event.
GalaxyCon San Jose’s success has also been praised by city leaders, such as San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, who has stated:
