Following its success on the Nintendo Switch back in October, Front Mission 2: Remake is now coming to additional consoles and the PC at the end of April.
Front Mission 2: Remake will launch on additional consoles and the PC on April 30th. It will be available for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles along with the PC. PC gamers could pick it up on either Steam, GOG, or the Epic Game Store.
Mecha gamers will also be excited to learn a demo of Front Mission 2: Remake will be available on Steam starting today. It will allow players to experience the first two missions of the game. Plus, your save game from the demo will carry over to the full game when launched.
Front Mission 2: Remake takes place during the events of the Second Alordesh Coup. Set 12 years after the event of the first game, the People’s Republic of Alordesh wants to break away from the Oceania Cooperative Union (OCU). When a second coup is launched by elements of the military, OCU forces are deployed to restore order.
The Front Mission series is a turn-based mecha JRPG that often follows conflicts between regional unions and economic blocs. The series is known for its rich storytelling along with its RPG gameplay. Players take command of a squad of wanzers (“walking tanks”) whom they must command in battle.
