François Chau will be a Guest at SacAnime Summer 2021

SacAnime Summer 2021 is almost here but the guest list continues to grow with the inclusion of a treat for GI Joe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans. It has been announced that François Chau will be among the guests.

François Chau is an actor with a long and robust career in entertainment, having played so many iconic characters. Fans will recognize him as the voice of Quick Kick in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero plus G.I. Joe: The Movie and Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Gamers will recognize him for his role as Lt. Winston “Vagabond” Chang in the Wing Commander series and Sensei Sadanobu Ishikawa in Ghost of Tsushima. His most resent performance on screen was that of Mr. Leo in Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.

He will be joining over 20 cast members of My Hero Academia along with Jodi Benson and Sean Schemmel. More guests are expected to be announced in the coming weeks

This is just one of several conventions in the that will host a live event, but that could change should there be a spike in cases. As of August 21st, 68% of California’s population has received their first dose of the vaccine while the state has lifted most economic restrictions.

SacAnime Summer 2021 will be held at the newly renovated Sacramento Convention Center during the Labor Day weekend. Registration has opened for standard passes and VIP passes. More information about the events and guest will be announced in the future.
