Rejoice fellow degenerate weebs! FanimeCon has announced that Silver Island will be returning and it’s now taking vendor applications. 

Silver Island is the mature aspect of FanimeCon, hosting the hentai themed events and market. It will be hosted at the San Jose DoubleTree Hotel (located next to the San Jose Airport). The Night Market will also return and will be open from 6 pm to 2 am from Friday to Sunday. Vendor registration for the Night market has opened and booths will be provided a table and two chairs. 

It should be noted that Silver Island is only open to FanimeCon guests that are 18+ years of age. 

Silver Island will be one of several events set to take place during FanimeCon 2023. There will also be panels, cosplay gatherings, and special guests. Among the guests are Jirard Khalil, Cherami Leigh, Kyle McCarley, cosplayers Aicosu, Bandai Namco Collectables Hobby host Linda Le, and anime historian Gilles Poitras. Additional details about the special events will also be made available in the future. 

FanimeCon 2023 will take place during the Memorial Day Weekend at the San Jose Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. It is one of the largest fan organized anime conventions in North America. Check out our coverage of last year’s event to have an idea of what to expect.
