Horror game fans received a special treat during E3 2018 as Focus Home Interactive has unveiled a new trailer for their adaptation of Call of Cthulhu.

Call of Cthulhu will have players take on the role of Private Investigator Edward Pierce who is tasked to look into the death of the Hawkins family on Darkwater Island. During the investigation, he gets dragged into a sinister conspiracy that involves cultists and the cosmic horrors.

The trailer and information made available during E3 has provided information about the gameplay. As with Dark Corners of the Earth, players sanity will play a major role in their interaction with the world.

Call of Cthulhu is a video game adaptation of the pen & paper RPG from Chaosium, which itself is based on the works of HP Lovecraft. The game is set to be released in late 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
