Following the success of the last game, D3 Publisher announces that Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is in the works. The game is set to launch on September 26th, 2024. 

The game will once again follow the EDF as they attempt to save Voxel Earth from an alien invasion. Players will build a team with characters from around the world and battle the invaders. To have an idea about the game check out the trailer: 

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will launch on September 26th, 2024 for the PlayStation 4, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch. There is no word regarding an Xbox or PC launch at the moment.

In a radical departure from past titles, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers is a spin-off that uses voxel art. The first game launched in 2021 and was highly praised for its unique approach to the beloved series.
