Do you enjoy going to a fan convention on an aircraft carrier? If so then you are in luck. The USS Hornet: Sea, Air, and Space Museum has officially announced the time and date for their fan convention, CarrierCon 2023.

CarrierCon 2023 will be a one day pop-culture convention hosted on the iconic aircraft carrier on March 18th. The event will feature panels, an artist alley, vendors along with tours of the iconic ship. No guests or panels have been announced at the moment but more information will be available in the coming months.

Attendees should be aware of the rules and dress code of the convention. This is due to limited space and the USS Hornet is a US Historical Landmark (under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service). Please plan your cosplay accordingly.

Tickets are currently on sale now but registration for vendors, artist alley, and panels will be open soon.

The USS Hornet is an Essex-class aircraft carrier that was in service from 1942 to 1970. It saw action in the Pacific Theater and was responsible for the recovery of the Apollo 11 space capsule. Today she is a museum and a U.S. National Historic Landmark (Reference no. 91002065). It has also been used as a movie set on numerous occasions.
