For the first time since February 2020, BAR Con will be hosting a live event. For those of you who missed going to live music shows or cosplay gatherings, this is now your chance to mingle at a live event for the first time in ages.

BAR Con Presents: Carnival Phantasm Cosplay Rave will take place on October 31st at the Back Bar SoFa (located in Downtown San Jose). The event will be an EDM fuled cosplay show that will also include special drinks along with the screening of anime. Tickets are on sale now for $16 or they could be purchased at the door for $20 or $17 for cosplayers.

Details about the anime selection and video games will be made in the coming weeks. The event will also feature performances by Odyssey Eurobeat, Welksie (ft. special guest Eri), Nekoramis, and Lawbster.

Those who want to attend should be aware of the following:

• Since the event will be hosted at a bar, guests must be 21 and over to attend.
• Proof of vaccination is required.
• Large props are not allowed due to safety concerns.

BAR Con is a monthly event that combines ones love of anime, video games and J-Rock into a one night festivity. The event is held at the Back Bar SoFa in Downtown San Jose on the first Friday of every month. Tickets could be purchased online or at the door.
