After numerous volumes and episodes, One Piece is finally getting a JRPG adaptation. Bandai Namco announces that One Piece Odyssey, a JRPG based on the iconic series, is in the works.
One Piece Odyssey is a JRPG with an original story by series creator Eiichiro Oda. The story take on the role of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they have been brought to a mysterious island. Players will take on the role of their favorite characters and explore the island and battle a verity of foes.

The game is being developed to honor the series 25th anniversary. It’s set to launch for the PlayStation 4 and 5 along with the Xbox Series X and the PC sometime in 2022.
One Piece is a manga series that follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy as he embarks on a quest to become the King of the Pirates by finding the the treasure known as “One Piece”. As of 2021, it’s both the best selling comic and manga series and one of the longest running anime series.
