If you’re a fan of Hayao Miyazaki and prefer to see his works in theaters then the Balboa Theater has you covered. They have announced that they will host a special screening of Princess Mononoke for two nights.

AniMonday Presents ~ Princess Mononoke will be a special screening of the hit anime film on July 10th at 11 am and July 11th at 7:30 pm. The Sunday showing will be of the dubbed version while the Monday showing will be the subbed version. Tickets for the film are now on sale, via online. 

If this is not an anime that interests you, not to worry. The Balboa Theater does show other anime classics every other AniMonday. They also have numerous anime film festivals during the year.

Princess Mononoke is a historical fantasy epic written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The story follows Ashitaka and the struggle between the gods of a forest and human industrialization.
