During a panel at Anime Expo 2024, ATLUS unveiled the story trailer for the upcoming game, Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Metaphor: ReFantazio — Story Trailer presents a more detailed look into the game’s overall story. This includes a more in-depth look into the protagonist, the struggles each character faces, and the powers at play in the game’s world. Check out the trailer to learn more about the game:

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a fantasy RPG set in the world of the United Kingdom of Euchronia. King has been assassinated and the heir to the throne is unfit to take the crown because of a curse. In response a tournament is held to determine the next ruler. Players will take on the role of a Protagonist who seeks to lift the curse placed on the crown prince. 

The game is set to launch for all major consoles and the PC on October 11th, 2024. It’s also now available for pre-order with the choice between the Collector’s Edition and the standard version. The Collector’s Edition will include the base game along with additional content and collectors merchandise. Among the merchandise are an artbook, the official soundtrack, Homo Tenta metallic pins, sticker sheet, steelbook, and a Kingdom of Euchronia Cloth Map.

Anime Expo is the largest anime convention in North America and one of the biggest events in the industry. Organized by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), the event brings major leaders of the industry while inviting the fandom for an eventful weekend. The 2024 event will take place from July 4th to July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
