Atlus hosted a special showcase for Metaphor: ReFantazio that looked into major characters and their relationship to the player.

Metaphor: ReFantazio “ATLUS Exclusive” Showcase – Characters is a special livestream hosted by the game’s director, Katsura Hashino. The presentation looked at the many characters of the game and their relation to the players. This includes potential allies who can help the players and rivals working to undermine the players. At the same time, it takes an in-depth look into some of the gameplay mechanics regarding the player and their relationship with the world.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a fantasy RPG set in the world of the United Kingdom of Euchronia. King has been assassinated and the heir to the throne is unfit to take the crown because of a curse. In response a tournament is held to determine the next ruler. Players will take on the role of a Protagonist who seeks to lift the curse placed on the crown prince. 

The game is set to launch for all major consoles and the PC on October 11th, 2024. It’s also now available for pre-order with the choice between the Collector’s Edition and the standard version. The Collector’s Edition will include the base game along with additional content and collectors merchandise. Among the merchandise are an artbook, the official soundtrack, Homo Tenta metallic pins, a sticker sheet, steel book, and a Kingdom of Euchronia Cloth Map.
