After a year of uncertainty due to the pandemic, Ani-Me Con has announced they will return in 2022.
Exciting news for anime fans in the Central Valley, Ani-Me Con has announced they will return in 2022. This comes after a turbulent time followed by a series of cancellations due to the pandemic.
Ani-Me Con 10 is set to take place from March 19th to March 20th at the Fresno Fairgrounds. At the time of writing; no list of vendors, special events, guests or panels have been posted. Panel and cosplay gathering registration has also not opened at the moment. That information will be made available in the coming months leading up to the event.
Tickets are also not on sale yet as that will be opened in the future. It has been confirmed that anyone who has a ticket or was to be a vendor for the 2020 event will have it rolled over for the 2022 event.
This is just one of several conventions in the that will host a live event in 2022, but that could change should there be a spike in cases. As of November 23rd, 78% of California’s population has received their first dose of the vaccine while the state has lifted all economic restrictions.
