After being closed due to the ongoing pandemic, AFKxp has announced that they have reopened.
Like so many establishments, AFKxp was forced to temporarily close in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the easing of restrictions, they have now opened their doors for the South Bays gaming community. The announcement was made via social media:
Full services are now available and precautions are being taken to ensure everyone’s safety. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced while operating at a reduced capacity. The new hours will be Monday to Friday from 4pm to 11pm and Saturday from Noon to midnight. Sunday hours will be Noon to 10pm.
They join LvL Up Campbell location which also opened for indoor services this month. Other gaming lounges like Euphnet Cyber Café have also announced their reopening this month.
AFKxp Tech+Games could only be described as the heart of the gaming community in the South Bay. This due to the the numerous gaming events they have hosted. They are located on the second floor of LVL Up and share a space with The Retro Fix.
