A Night to Honor the Anime Industry

The anime community has made their voices heard as the winners of the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards have been announced. Presented during a special ceremony hosted in Tokyo, the event honored the best of the anime industry. The ceremony took place on March 2nd and was live streamed globally. 

The 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards featured a variety of presenters across the entertainment industry. Among them were Grammy awarding winning artist Megan Thee Stallion, DeMarcus Lawrence of the Dallas Cowboys, along with directors Bong Joon Ho and Joaquim Dos Santo just to name a few.

The Winners

A winner was selected for each of the 31 different categories. Among the highlights was Jujutsu Kaisen winning 11 awards including Anime of the Year. Chainsaw Man also dominated the show by winning five of the awards. Demon Slayer, Spy X Family and Attack on Titan also walked away with a few awards.

The following are the winners of the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, organized based on their respective categories:

  • Best Voice Actor Performance (Arabic) – Taleb Alrefai as Senku Ishigami, Dr. Stone

A Good Year for Anime

Crunchyroll is the largest anime streaming service and a driving force in promoting the anime community. Besides distribution, they are known for their original streetwear (via Crunchyroll Love) and publishing anime based video games (via Crunchyroll Games).
