The anime community has made their voices heard as the winners of the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards have been announced. Presented during a special ceremony hosted in Tokyo, the event honored the best of the anime industry. The ceremony took place on March 4th and was live streamed globally.
The 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards featured a variety of presenters across the entertainment industry. Among them were Super Bowel Champion Juju Smith-Schuster, actor Finn Wolfhard, along with directors Justin Lin and Robert Rodriguez.
The Winners
A winner was selected for each of the 29 different categories. Among the highlights was Cyberpunk: Edgerunners winning the Anime of the Year. Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan dominated the show with each winning five of the awards. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 followed by winning three of the awards.

Other Announcements
During the ceremony. Crunchyroll also made several major announcements. A new music initiative has been launched in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment to add more than 100 full-length live concerts, 3,200 music videos and feature more than 250+ artists to the platform. It was also revealed that Monster Hunter will have a collaboration event with Street Fighter: Duel.
Crunchyroll is the largest anime streaming service and a driving force in promoting the anime community. Besides distribution, they are known for their original streetwear (via Crunchyroll Love) and publishing anime based video games (via Crunchyroll Games).
