SEGA and Atlus have launched Version 2.0 of Persona 5: The Phantom X, introducing a wealth of new content and updates.
Version 2.0 is the first major update for Persona 5: The Phantom X since it launched back in July. It introduces new story elements and additional content while also bringing back some familiar favorites.

Here is a breakdown of all the new content introduced in Version 2.0:
Chapter 3: Unconditional Love: A new educational consultant is appointed at Kokatsu Academy, where the protagonist is enrolled. Advocating a modern sense of “righteousness,” they set about improving the academy, but over time, the relationship between teachers and students began to warp. The school slowly transforms into something unsettling. Meanwhile, Riko Tanemura of the Disciplinary Committee begins to notice the distortions and questions what is truly happening.
Kichijoji Area: A new area has been added alongside Chapter 3 of the Main Story. This Kichijoji Area brings more ways to enjoy city life, such as new part-time jobs, as well as the chance to meet new characters and learn their stories.
Riko Tanemura (Codename: Wind): Riko Tanemura is asupport character who acts as the group’s strategist, leading them to land the All-Out Attacks. Even when not targeting an enemy’s Weakness, she can lower the enemy’s Down Points, and at the start of battle, she boosts the entire party’s HP, Attack, and Defense. She also possesses the ability to increase All-Out Attack damage by 60%.
5★ Ren Amamiya Returns: Ren Amamiya, aka Joker, returns to the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts: The Phantom Magician. Also returning are theArms Deals: Silent Pistol, featuring the Ren Amamiya only 5★ weapon Phoenix Dagger in Most Wanted.
Most Wanted Phantom Thief: 5★ Ayaka Sakai (Code Name: Chord): Ayaka Sakai will be featured in Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts, where the appearance rate for certain Phantom Thieves is increased. Specializing in single-target buffs, Sakai can grant an ally an attack power boost, as well as significantly strengthen their Highlight effect. She’s able to instantly activate an ally’s Highlight, ignoring the Highlight Gauge and cooldown times.
New Protagonist Training Feature: This will allow players to strengthen and train the protagonist beyond Level 80. Any additional experience gained will increase your level with the notation “S-LV.”, granting you new Schema Points that can be used to raise the protagonist’s base stats. Access this feature by selecting the protagonist from the Phantom Thief menu in the in-game menu.
Thou Art I… And I Am Thou
Persona 5: The Phantom X launched on June 26 for the PC and mobile devices. A spin-off of the acclaimed JRPG, players assume the role of a student living a double life as a Phantom Thief. By day, they attend school and enjoy various activities around the city. By night, they infiltrate cognitive dungeons to steal Treasures and reform the twisted desires of corrupt adults.
