Following the successful launch on the Nintendo Switch, fans of the iconic horror shooter will get to live the nightmare on the PC and other consoles. The House of the Dead: Remake is coming to the PC, PlayStation and Xbox this month.
The House of the Dead: Remake will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam plus GOG) on April 28th. It will also launch on Stadia that same day. There is no word yet about a Next-Gen console launch. The announcement was made online in the following Tweet:
Along with the Switch version, this is the first game in the series to launch on consoles since The House of the Dead: Overkill. That entry was released for the Wii and PlayStation 3 back in 2013.
The House of the Dead is a light gun shooter that has players take on the role of AMS Agent Thomas Rogan and Agent G as they battle waves of zombies while trying to stop Dr. Curien. The original game was released in 1998 for the arcade followed by a Sega Saturn and PC launch.
