Fans of the Halo series will be happy to learn that Steve Downes and Jen Taylor will be guests at SacAnime Winter 2022.

Steve Downes is a voice actor who is best known for his role as John-117 (better known as Master Chief). He has voiced the iconic character since Halo: Combat Evolved and has appeared as the character in every entry of the series. He has also voiced the character in spin-off titles and crossovers. Downes is also set to return as Master Chief in the upcoming entry, Halo Infinite.

Jen Taylor is a voice actress who is best known for her role as Cortona in the Halo series and Princess Peach in the Super Mario series. She has voiced Cortana in every title since Halo: Combat Evolved along with crossover titles and spin-offs. From 1996 to 2006; she was the voice of Princess Peach in every Mario and Nintendo title. Her other iconic roles include Zoey in the Left 4 Dead series.

They will be joining the cast of The Rising of the Shield Hero, Faye Mata from KonoSuba, Zach Aguilar from Demon Slayer, Dallas Reid and the main cast of RWBY. Also joining them are industry legends Cherami Leigh and Johnny Yong Bosch. More guests along with events and cosplay gathering locations will be announced in the coming months.

SacAnime Winter 2022 will take place at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center from January 7th until January 9th. It’s one of the largest anime conventions in Central California that organizes a series of insightful panels along with cosplay gatherings, musical events, and more.
