Fans of Death Note are in for a treat as Brian Drummond and Shannon Chan-Kent are coming to StocktonCon Winter 2025.

Brian Drummond is a voice actor who has played some of the most iconic anime characters. He is best known for his role as Ryuk in Death Note. Gundam fans will recognize him as Zechs Merquise/Milliardo Peacecraft in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Andrew Waltfeld (aka The Desert Tiger) in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Dragon Ball Z fans will recognize him for his role as Vegeta in the Ocean Group dub version. 

Shannon Chan-Kent is a voice actress best known for her role as Misa Amane in Death Note. She has voiced the character in the anime and the English dub of the live-action series. Her other notable roles include Pinkie Pie in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Recently she provided the voices of Rusty Rose, Black Rose, and Thron Rose on Sonic Prime.

Brian Drummond and Shannon Chan-Kent will be some of the many special guests at StocktonCon in Winter 2025.

They will be joining voice acting icons Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche along with Laz Alonso from The Boys. Also on the guest list are comic industry icons like Lee Kohse, Mel Smith, and Justin Greenwood just to name a few. Additional guests will be announced in the future. Details about activities during the weekend will also become available soon. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

StocktonCon Winter 2025 will take place from February 15th to the 16th at the Adventist Health Arena. It’s a pop-culture fan convention that brings together performers, wrestlers, and comic legends for an eventful weekend.
