Following last week’s announcement, FAN EXPO San Francisco has confirmed the second batch of guests and they are some of the biggest names in the anime world. The guest list now features Justin Briner, Monica Rial, Sarah Natochenny, Natalie Van Sistine, Trina Nishimura, and Jessie James Grelle.

The Guest List

Justin Briner is a voice actor who is best known for his role as Izuku Midoriya (Deku) in My Hero Academia. He has also provided the voice of Deku in a number of video games (main titles or spin-offs). His other notable roles include Ginro in Dr. Stone, Emil Nekola in Yuri on Ice, and 9A in Darling in the FRANXX.

Monica Rial is a voice actress who is best known for her role as Tsuyu Asui (Froppy) on My Hero Academia. Her other major roles include Bulma on Dragon Ball Z along with Tanya von Degurechaff in Saga of Tanya the Evil and Isekai Quartet. As a screenwriter, she has worked on Shin-chan and Tokyo Ghoul.

Sarah Natochenny is a voice actress who is best known for her role as Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon series since 2009. She has voiced the iconic character in every season and movie adaptation (including the reboots). Her other iconic roles include Aura Sentia in Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. Gamers will also recognize her as Alicia in Bullet Witch.

Natalie Van Sistine is a voice actress best known for her role as Yor Forger on Spy x Family. Her other notable roles include Stars and Stripe on My Hero Academia, Miorine Rembran in Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury, and Akane Matsui on Fire in His Fingertips.

Trina Nishimura is a voice actress who is best known for her role as Mikasa Ackerman on Attack on Titan and Mari Illustrious Makinami in the Rebuild of Evangelion films. Her other major roles include Kyoka Jiro (aka Earphone Jack) on My Hero Academia and Kurisu Makise on Steins; Gate. 

Jessie James Grelle is a voice actor best known for his role as Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan and Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia. His other major roles include Nobuchika Ginoza in Psycho Pass and Mao Sadou / Demon King Satan on The Devil Is a Part-Timer.

They will be joining the cast of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, pop-culture icon Carl Weathers, Peter Weller from RoboCop, and Star Treks Jonathan Frakes just to name a few. More guests will be announced in the coming months. Details about special events and more will also become available in the future.

Fan Expo San Francisco is a pop-culture convention that allows fans the chance to meet the talents behind their favorite work. The 2023 event will take place from November 24th to November 26th at Moscone West.
