SacAnime addresses the concerns guest have regarding their Summer 2020 event during the COVID-19 pandemic.
SacAnime Summer 2020 is only a few months away but there has been a growing concern among guests if the event will still happen due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The team addressed these concerns in several post on their website and social media accounts.
It has been confirmed that there is a possibility that the event might be cancelled. It’s too early to make such a decision. Those who wish to cancel now over concerns for their health are welcomed to do so. Guest who decide to cancel their pass will receive a full refund.
There is also a plan in place is SacAnime Summer 2020 is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ticket holders will either get a full refund or have their pass rolled over for the next event (Winter 2021).

The event is still expected to have many events and a solid guest list. Currently the guest list includes Billy Kametz from The Rising of the Shield Hero and Faye Mata from KonoSuba. Joining them will be Jad Saxton and Alexis Tipton from Fire Force. Plus most of the cast members from My Hero Academia will be present. More guests along with events and panels will be announced in the coming months.
SacAnime Summer 2020 will be held at Cal Expo during the Labor Day weekend.
