Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection is a gift to hard core fans of the iconic series along with a proper introduction to gamers who are unfamiliar with one of the greatest gaming series.

The Legacy Collection will feature all the games in the main series restored in high definition along with two digital graphic novels and a special booklet. With Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zero and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain coming soon; this gives gamers the chance to go back or become familiar with the iconic game series.

Gamers could go back to the Shadow Moses Incident or replay Operation Snake Eater, all of these iconic moments are available in one collection. The collection also includes the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, released in the 90’s for the MSX then re-released with Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance.

There is just one drawback to this collection, the absence of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Even though this is suppose to be a collection of every game in the series Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is not included in the set.

But this is not a total drawback as every other game in the series is available in the collection.

Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection will be admired by hardcore fans of the series while new gamers will learn why Hideo Kojima is so highly respected in the gaming world.

Final Score: 10/10
