With the launch of The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II, approaching, NIS America has released a demo for the PlayStation consoles.

Story and Battle Demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II are now available on the PlayStation Store. The Story Demo allows players to explore the areas around Edith while also navigating through the beginning of the game. The Battle Demo allows players to explore the Märchen Garten with two teams.

Trails through Daybreak II is a sequel that once again has players taking on the role of Van Arkide. When members of the Central Intelligence Division are found murdered in the capital, Van is tasked with finding the culprit before more people are killed. However, something more sinister is at work in the background.

This will be the second game in the Daybreak arc of The Legend of Heroes series. The arc is set in the Calvard Republic following the events of Trails into Reverie. The story follows Van Arkide, a spriggan—a bounty hunter and private detective—tasked with solving a series of cases.

The game is now available for pre-order with fans having the option to purchase the Deluxe Edition or the Limited Edition. The Deluxe Edition will include the base game along with a mini-artbook and a digital soundtrack. The Limited Edition includes the Deluxe Edition, an art book, an art card set, the soundtrack, a steel book, and an atlas of the Calvard Republic. All of it is packaged in a collector’s box.
