OffKai Expo Gen 5 Opens 2nd Hotel Block
Due to growing demand, OffKai Expo has opened a second hotel block for its 2026 event, dubbed OffKai Expo Gen 5.
Due to growing demand, OffKai Expo has opened a second hotel block for its 2026 event, dubbed OffKai Expo Gen 5.
The second hotel block for OffKai Expo Gen 5 allows attendees to book a room at the Hyatt Place San Jose, Marriott San Jose, Westin San Jose, or Hilton San Jose. All four hotels are located next to or connected to the convention center. Rooms at the DoubleTree and Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites San Jose Airport are also available. While a little farther away, both hotels sit next to the Green and Blue Line of the VTA Light Rail.
Attendees should book their rooms as soon as possible, as they will sell out fast due to the event’s popularity. A third hotel block is unlikely to open. If a room is unavailable, check back later as availability may change due to cancellations. Guests are also advised to book directly through the convention to receive the discounted rate.
With accommodations covered, here’s what fans can look forward to at OffKai Expo
The event will feature some of the biggest VTubers, including Yena Youngblood, Roca Rourin, Terra 404, HaniHima, Mint Fantôme, Tomoe Umari, and Henya the Genius, just to name a few. The weekend will also include a dealer’s hall, an itasha showcase, a maid cafe, live musical performances, and a cosplay contest. A highlight of the weekend is the HIMEHINA WORLD Tour 2026 『LIFETIME is BUBBLIN』, a concert with the VTuber duo taking place on July 24 at the San Jose Civic Center. This is a separate ticketed event.
OffKai Expo Gen 5 takes over the San Jose Convention Center from July 24 to 26, 2026. Whether you want to meet your favorite VTubers or connect with fellow fans, this is the Bay Area’s biggest weekend for the VTuber community. Registration is open and passes are on sale.
