After months of rumors and speculations, Acitivsion has finally made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered available as a standalone title for the PlayStation 4.

Modern Warfare Remastered was released back in November as part in the Legacy Edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Now PS4 gamers could purchase it from the PlayStation Store for $40.

It’s unknown when Modern Warfare Remastered available as a standalone for the Xbox One or PC. However at best one could guess it will be made available in the next 30 days (just like how PS4 games got to enjoy the single-player campaign early back in October).

The original Modern Warfare was released back in 2004 and it was the first game in the series to not be set during World War II. It was universally praised for redefining the series while becoming a major influence on the shooter genre.

Correction:An earlier version of this story stated that if you bought Modern Warfare Remastered as part of the Legacy Edition, you did not need to install Infinite Warfare to play now. That information was a mistake and we do apologize.
