SacGamers Expo 2024 is almost here but the guest list continues to grow with the inclusion of John Riggs.

John Riggs is a video game commentator and indie developer. As a commentator, he is known for his insightful look into video games with a focus on retro titles and consoles. As an indie game developer, he is known for his retro-inspired titles such as Yeah Yeah Beebiss II (which we reviewed) and Chew Chew Mimic.

He will be joined by industry legends David Crane and Garry Kitchen along with Gary Anthony Williams from The Boondocks. Also on the guest list are nerdcore artist Mega Ran, commentator Nintendrew, along with David Humphrey and Scott Dreier from the Sonic the Hedgehog series just to name a few. A.J. Kirsch will act as the master of ceremonies for the SacGamers Expo weekend.

Additional guests could be announced in the future. Registration and ticket sales for the event are now open.

Sac Gamers Expo is one of the largest video game conventions in the Sacramento area. The event brings together game vendors (from around California), industry icons, and leaders of the community’s indie game industry. The 2024 event will take place at the Scottish Rite Center from December 14th to December 15th.
