SacAnime has announced that Jad Saxton, voice actress and ADR director, is the next confirmed guest for its Summer 2026 event.

Jad Saxton is a voice actress best known for her roles as Tamaki Kotatsu in Fire Force, Misuzu Gundou in Tomo-chan Is a Girl, and Kanna in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. She also voiced Chika Fujiwara in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Carla in Fairy Tail and Yuki in Wolf Children. Her other notable roles include Koneko in High School DxD, Kirie Motoba in Himouto! Umaru-chan, Hatchin in Michiko & Hatchin and Faris in Steins;Gate.

During her career, Saxton has earned five Behind The Voice Actors (BTVA) Anime Dub Award nominations and won one in 2016 for Death Parade. She shared the award with Alex Organ, Jamie Marchi, Robert McCollum, Anastasia Munoz, Jeremy Schwartz, Z. Charles Bolton, Morgan Laure and Leah Clark.

As an ADR director, Saxton has worked on episodes of High School DxD, Spy x Family and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, among many others.

SacAnime Summer 2026 Guests and Activities

Jad Saxton will be one of many special guests attending SacAnime Summer 2026. She joins Ming-Na Wen from Mulan and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Brittney Karbowski from Fairy Tail, along with Alix Wilton Regan from Dragon Age: Inquisition and Cyberpunk 2077. Additional guests, along with attendance days and session times, will be announced in the future.

The weekend will also include musical shows, a maid cafe, cosplay gatherings, industry plus fan panels, and special shows. Details about the activities and gatherings will also be announced in the months leading up to the convention. Tickets for SacAnime Summer 2026 are now on sale, starting at $50 for the weekend.

SacAnime Summer 2026 runs September 4 to 6, 2026, at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, 1401 K St., Sacramento, CA 95814. The convention is one of the largest anime events in Northern California, drawing attendees from the surrounding region along with the Bay Area and Reno-Sparks area. It features a series of panels along with cosplay gatherings, musical performances and more.
